I’m here for you.
what a horrible start to the week. An old friend and school mate of mine sadly took his own life on Saturday night and me being at a festival all weekend only found out early Monday morning.
He was a beautiful human being with a smile you could see from the other side of the street that would brighten up your day with just a glimpse. He had a strong passion for music and was an incredibly talent singer and guitar player, I’m very blessed to have seen him play on a few occasions. Not only could he play but he could write some fantastic songs. This lad was one of the happiest and cheeriest people I have ever had the sheer pleasure of knowing. I seen him grow up, I’ve seen him become a man. He was in the year at school that my year all took in and treated like our younger siblings (half of them actually are). It goes to show that no matter the love and support that surrounds you, no matter how big a persons smile is, they may have something hidden deeper that they feel they can no longer take. He had a solid group of mates and it pains me to think he felt he couldn’t talk to anyone.
It’s a shame that something so tragic has to happen for you to realise what’s important.
I BEG all of you, even if you have never spoke or don’t even know who I am. If you ever ever ever need to talk to someone about anything, literally anything, even if it’s something you feel isn’t important, give me a shout. Drop me a message. talk to me. Tell me about your day, everyone needs to know that it’s never too late to talk to someone and that even if at the time is seems like it’s not going to get betters there is someone here, me, willing to just listen and help in any way possible.
